Carbon financing and expanding energy access for the poor

SEI provided assistance to the Sustainable Energy Program of the UNDP during 2006 to convene experts in rural development and carbon finance in order to examine the potential for carbon finance (such as the CDM) to contribute to sustainable development by providing resources for expanding the access of poor communities to energy services.
