Baltic Challenges and Chances for local and regional development generated by Climate Change (BalticClimate)
BalticClimate addresses the need for planning related decision support related climate change adaptation and mitigation at the local and regional level. The focus is on small and medium sized cities and rural areas and their surrounding regions within the Baltic Sea Region.
As the project identifies both the challenges and opportunities related to climate change and development, the key target audience includes both the public and private sector.
SEI plays a dual role in BalticClimate – to coordinate Estonian municipal level and county level project partners in developing their integrated solutions and to develop an ICT toolkit which would allow for transfer of project results to throughout the BSR area.
