TEST is funded by the EC African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) Science and Technology Programme.

The project will develop a quality-assured, web-based knowledge database collating information on research capacities, networks and activities, best practice and research needs and technology needs related to traffic congestion, air pollution and road safety.

A short-term training programme based on a needs assessment will be developed to increase capacity of stakeholder communities to prepare and submit proposals for research related to transport.

Also, media training will be given to network members to enable communication of the research results to different stakeholders.
