Izabela Ratajczak Juszko conducts research in the field of climate change governance.


Izabela Ratajczak-Juszko is a Research Fellow at the Climate Change Adaptation programme within the Global Cities Research Institute at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia doing climate governance research at multiple. Izabela’s research primarily focuses on equity and transparency as key principles in climate governance and finance, broad stakeholder engagement, international institutions, international regimes, the climate change adaptation agendas and finance for adaptation actions in developing countries. She maintains her link with SEI Oxford as a Research Associate.


Iza worked full-time for SEI Oxford between 2005 and 2008, as office manager and in jointly developing the European Capacity Building Initiative (ECBI). ECBI focuses on capacity and trust building between EU and developing country climate change negotiators in the context of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).


Izabela has postgraduate degree in International Relations from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Her first degree is in Pedagogy and Resocialisation and she also holds a Diploma, in Environmental Protection: Water Management from Engineering and Environmental Protection Schools in Gdansk, Poland.
