Title: Research Fellow
Expertise: water flows, terrestrial ecosystems
Centre: Stockholm
Louise is a Research Fellow and joined the institute in 2006. She specialises in flows of water and matter in terrestrial ecosystems and holds a PhD in Land and Water Resources Sciences from the Royal Institute of technology (KTH), Sweden.
Her work focuses on water management in small-scale agriculture in tropical regions, and in particular on the modelling of transpiration and photosynthesis and the impact of climate and environment. In recent years, Louise’s research has also included modelling of carbon turnover in terrestrial ecosystems.
