Kate works for the Rethinking Development theme, in close collaboration with the SEI communications team. Based at SEI-US in Somerville, MA, she is focusing primarily on SEI’s Inequality and Sustainability project, doing research and writing about the ongoing inequality debate and helping researchers in the project communicate their findings.
Kate earned a B.A. in sociology and psychology from Middlebury College in 2005. Since then, she has worked as a project manager and consultant, helping develop capacity-building research networks in Maine and Washington. She has also lived and worked in Greece and Vietnam. Kate is currently pursuing a Master in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning degree at Tufts University.
