Alyson joined SEI-US in February 2012 as administrative assistant for the Davis office.
Prior to joining SEI, she worked as a research assistant for the Gifford Center for Populations Studies, a research organization focused on the nexus of climate change, health, and mobility. While there, she further developed her interests in the socio-cultural impacts of climate change, specifically the issue of climate/environmental refugees. Her interests also include natural resources, agriculture, equity, migration, and vulnerability, with a regional focus on Africa and Haiti.
Alyson has a B.A. in international relations from the University of California-Davis, with an anthropological socio-cultural emphasis on conservation, natural resources, and population health.
