Linn Persson, PhD in Environmental Chemistry, has worked at SEI since 2005. Her areas of specialisation are chemical pollution, chemicals management, and international environmental agreements. She is currently engaged in research projects on SAICM implementation in Cambodia, and on pesticide impacts on ecosystem services.
She is also contributing to projects in the Policy and Institutions programme, such as the Policy Impact of Sustainability Knowledge and Towards an Eco-efficient Europe – integrated policy-making for climate, energy and competitiveness. Furthermore she takes part in the Sustainable pathways to attain the Millennium Development Goals with focus on the link between ecosystem services and poverty dynamics.
Before joining SEI, Persson worked for UNEP Chemicals in Geneva, the Swedish Embassy in Kenya and at the Department of Applied Environmental Science, Stockholm University, Sweden.
