Expertise: impact assessment of changes in livelihoods conditions

Eva Lindskog joined Stockholm Environment Institute in June 2000 as a Research Fellow.

Located in Vietnam for SEI Asia Centre, Bangkok until 2011, Eva is now working from the SEI Stockholm centre.  Eva’s areas of work are the social and cultural impact assessment of changes in livelihoods conditions caused by economic and policy interventions mainly in rural areas, the institutional set-up and readiness to respond to such changes, and the cooperation with research institutions in the Mekong countries aiming at strengthening their influence on policy formulation, implementation and follow up.

She has mostly undertaken field research in Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.

Before coming to SEI Eva worked on sustainable livelihoods and nature conservation projects in Vietnam and Laos.

She holds a MSc in Vietnamese history, literature and language at the Hanoi University, Vietnam and a Bsc in Sociology at Stockholm University, Sweden.
