The management of ecosystems and water resources is crucial for climate change adaptation and resilience.

The complex reality of China combines extreme drought in the North with seasonal flooding in the South. A rapid, resource-intensive development places enormous stress on fragile ecosystems. Climate change will further aggravate these conditions, unless smart solutions can be found.

The China Cluster works together with Chinese and international actors to enhance the understanding of these challenges and provide on-site solutions.
