Welcome to 2017 SEI Science Forum on the 30th of May! This year's forum is organised by SEI Asia and is taking place at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

We are delighted to announce the sixth annual Science Forum, one of SEIs most important science-policy events. The 2017 SEI Science Forum supports a dynamic and enduring exchange between science, people and policy, specifically focusing on the Asian region. An annual event of SEI, now ranked as the world’s No. 1 environment think tank, the Science Forum offers a platform to build and strengthen links between SEI researchers, stakeholders and decision-makers, and is an opportunity for them to learn about SEI’s quality research and policy engagement work. The Forum also gives our researchers the chance to find new ways to collaborate across disciplines and to develop innovative ideas.

Registeration is closed

We invite participants from across a range of sectors to the event to learn about SEI, to interact and challenge our researchers and our work, and share your experiences and ideas to help take forward our research and policy work in Asia.

This year’s program is organized around well-established areas of work within SEI such as gender, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, water, and energy, all critical issues in the Asian context. We continually focus our work on bridging research and policy engagements, to shift policy and practice towards sustainability.
