Management

SEI’s global management structure consists of three management functions in support of the SEI Executive Director and the SEI Board:

  • the Executive Team is a decision-making body for SEI. Its role is to provide overall governance direction, strategic leadership, direction of the work of the institute and monitor and evaluate progress towards meeting the institute’s strategic objectives and key performance requirements as defined in SEI’s long-term strategy and annual work plan of the SEI at a corporate level;
  • the Management Team is the principal SEI-wide advisory body that supports the Executive Team and Executive Director to plan, implement, control and monitor the development, management and activities of the entire institute. It supports and assists individual Centre Directors and other Directors with strategic and long-term development of each centre or activity area (Research, Policy, Capacity Development, Communication, Finance and HR);
  • the Centre Directors are responsible for the day-to-day management of each SEI location.
