Multi-Stakeholder GHG Action Plan for Rhode Island

SEI used LEAP to show Rhode Island’s future GHG emissions based on current practice and to help quantify and evaluate the potential savings and costs of various alternative GHG abatement options.

Funded primarily by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Environmental Management (DEM) of the State of Rhode Island facilitated a multi-stakeholder process to develop an action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the State of Rhode Island.

The process involved stakeholders from the local community including representatives of industries, and local electric, oil and gas suppliers.
