The current report summarises the review of effective implementation of the cluster of biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) at the national level in Estonia.

The review methodology was developed by the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre (SEI Tallinn) and commissioned by the United Nations Environment
Programme (UNEP) Division of Environmental Law and Conventions in 2011. The testing of the methodology was carried out in 2013 and funded by the Stockholm Environment Institute through its Programme Support fund provided by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
The review system for coherent and effective implementation of multilateral biodiversity agreements is based on 15 categories, addressing two types of effectiveness: objective-led and implementation effectiveness.
