The Global Atmospheric Pollution Forum and all of its participating regional air pollution networks and organizations sponsored a major international conference to bring together leading international experts in the fields of air pollution, climate change, and co-benefits. They included experts from the science community, governments, international organizations, regional networks, as well as some representatives from NGOs and industry.

Funded primarily through a grant from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the conference was part of the Global Forum’s programme to examine the linkages and synergies between policies at various scales to jointly address air pollution and climate change.
