Coverage of the new Trase platform

Friday, 11 November 2016 00:00

The launch in Marrakech of the new Trase platform developed by SEI and the Global Canopy Programme (GCP) led to several articles in the international media. Trase maps the international supply chains of commodities associated with high levels of tropical deforestation, identifying the traders and other actors involved in the supply chain, as well as the size and origin of commodity flows. With a range of complementary data and functionalities, this makes Trase a powerful tool for companies, governments and others working to eliminate deforestation and other unsustainable practices within commodity supply chains.
