Clément Suavet joined SEI as a Research Fellow in April 2015 to work on the SEI-PCS model (Spatially Explicit Information on Production to Consumption Systems), as part of the Initiative on Producer to Consumer Sustainability (P2CS).

Clément is a broadly trained geoscientist with degrees from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (BSc, 2004), Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble (MSc, 2005), and Aix-Marseille University (PhD, 2009).

Before joining SEI, he carried out research on the origin and properties of micrometeorites as a graduate student in France, and as a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow in Siena (Italy). He then joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he worked on rock samples from the Apollo missions to study ancient magnetic fields on the Moon.
